French writer and dramatist Antonin Artaud, called drawing as “physical knowledge of images”. The Drawing Machine examines the concept of a bodily response to an image of drawing. By reversing the process of drawing, the design starts with a two dimensional drawing and float up to two variations of three dimensional form - path and volume.

The folding chair is inspired by everyday life. The legs of the folding chair open up and elegantly touch the ground. The design draws from a timeless and beautiful instrument for eating and applies a rigorous craftsmanship influenced by Danish furniture production.
